Community Good Friday Service

We invite you to join us and several other churches from our community as we gather to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the hope found in the cross.

This year’s service will be hosted by The Beacon Church, located at 6000 Reynolds Road (between Horton Road and Sears Road).

The service will start at 6:00 PM and follow a Tenebrae format.  Tenebrae means “darkness” or “shadows.” This is a quiet, reflective service that walks through the final hours of Christ’s life, helping us consider the weight of the cross and the depth of His love for us.

Through Scripture, music, and moments of reflection, we will be led step by step toward the cross. As the light gradually fades, we are reminded of the cost of our redemption … and prepared to fully rejoice in the victory of Resurrection Sunday.
